This is actually a wishlist idea and i am sure there are several mobile companies working on this idea and have thought of this idea.
There are many cellphone users around the world and biggest problem is keeping enough charge in cellphone or to keep it on charge somewhere and stay far from your loved cellphone. I have seen many travelers on Airport charging their phones.
Now, what is the solution. Hmm.. several people have found their own ways.. keeping additional battery, extra power pack, car charging, even NFC now. Biggest challenge is to give more power to battery yet keeping it lightweight.
There is no direct solution, but there could be a mix of several things like conventional chargers, solar charging embedded into mobile phone but all can keep the things same or make phone bulkier.
But there is one thing which can be done and that is quick charging – There can be an additional input for high-voltage charger which provides really high voltage to the phone and charges your battery completely in say less than 5 minutes.
